Dalibor Valinčić is a partner of Queritius with more than 15 years of experience in international dispute resolution. Dalibor’s experience includes litigation and international commercial and investor-state arbitrations. Dalibor has handled complex cross-border cases before various courts and appeared before tribunals under the auspices of leading international institutions, such as the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Vienna International Court of Arbitration (VIAC), and the Permanent Arbitration Court of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce. Dalibor also has appeared in arbitrations under the rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Dalibor is focused on sectors such as oil and gas, construction, food industry and distribution, and hospitality industry, but also has experience in other fields. He has participated in cases under both bilateral and multilateral investment treaties, including the Energy Charter Treaty (ECT), as well as under various types of commercial and investment contracts.

Dalibor is a guest lecturer at the Osijek Law School in Croatia. He is a Member of the ICC Arbitration Commission and an officer with IBA’s Arbitration Committee, where he co-heads the Eastern Europe Group of the IBA’s Arbitration Committee. Dalibor is also a member of other reputable arbitration associations and a regular speaker and presenter at international conferences.

Before joining Queritius, Dalibor was a partner and a co-head of the international arbitration group in a major international law firm, and he was also a member of an international arbitration group of an international law firm in Washington, D.C.
