The Arbitration Kitchen: Where Decisions Are Made – Closing Warsaw Disputes Days 2025
19. 06. 2026
On 12 June 2025, Queritius had the pleasure of hosting The Arbitration Kitchen: Where Decisions Are Made, a breakfast event organised as part of Warsaw Disputes Days and held at MokoLove in Warsaw.
Led by partners Wojciech Sadowski and Alicja Zielińska-Eisen, the event brought together arbitration practitioners from different jurisdictions and professional backgrounds for an open and interactive discussion on how arbitral decisions are shaped in practice. Rather than a traditional panel format, participants engaged in smaller-group conversations led by experienced discussion leaders, exploring topics such as tribunal dynamics, deliberation practices, advocacy strategies, and the different perspectives gained when moving between the roles of counsel and arbitrator.
We were delighted by the strong turnout and the quality of the discussions throughout the morning. The informal setting, combined with a breakfast buffet and our now-famous vitamin shots, created an atmosphere that encouraged genuine exchanges of views and practical insights.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our discussion leaders and moderators – Jurgita Petkutė, Albertas Šekštelo, LL.M., FCIArb, Nino Sievi and Yuval Naim – for sharing their experience and helping facilitate engaging conversations.
Most importantly, we would like to thank all participants for joining us and contributing to the event’s success. It was a pleasure to connect with so many colleagues and friends from the arbitration community and to conclude Warsaw Disputes Days with such a dynamic exchange of ideas.
We look forward to continuing the conversation at future events.
